RACHAEL M. O’BAR
Professional Status: Associate with the firm of Anderson, Julian & Hull LLP. Her practice is primarily concentrated in the area of worker’s compensation defense.
Educational Background: Born in Thomasville, Alabama, into an active duty Navy family, she returned to her Southern roots to graduate from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Administration in 1994. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland Law School in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1998.
Professional Affiliations: Member of the Idaho State Bar Association. Admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Idaho and all State Courts of Idaho.
Employment History: While attending law school she was employed as a summer intern at Pedersen & Company in Boise, Idaho. She was a visiting student at the University of Idaho School of Law for her third year of law school, and upon graduation returned to Pedersen and Company, working primarily in intellectual property law. Since November 1999, she has practiced almost exclusively in the area of Idaho worker’s compensation law.
Personal: A self-proclaimed soccer mom, she enjoys spending time with her husband of fifteen years and two young children. Between gymnastics, dance, hockey, and swimming, she relaxes by working in the yard, playing with her two dogs, camping, swimming, and biking.
