ANDREW S. JORGENSEN
Professional Status: Associate with the firm of Anderson, Julian & Hull LLP. His practice involves education law, insurance defense, commercial transactions, personal injury litigation, and construction law. Admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 2011.
Educational Background: Born a native Idahoan in Pocatello, Andrew attended Idaho State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He attended Brigham Young University for a Master of Arts degree in American Literature. In 2011 he earned his Juris Doctorate degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Idaho. In law school, he was an articles editor for the Idaho Law Review, a vice president of the Board of Student Advocates, a teaching assistant for legal research and writing courses, and an interscholastic moot court competitor.
Employment History: Prior to law school, Andrew worked as an adjunct instructor teaching writing in the English Department of Boise State University. Immediately after law school, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Darla Williamson and the Honorable Lynn Norton, Idaho Fourth District Judges, before becoming an associate at Anderson, Julian & Hull.
Personal: Andrew enjoys various outdoor activities – especially fly-fishing, camping and running. He is married and enjoys trying to make his two young daughters laugh. He also enjoys literature, visual arts, film and music.
