An Assertive Idaho Employment and Labor Law Firm

Helping employers build strong labor relations
Building strong relationships with your workforce supports your functionality and progress. Adhering to the strict laws and policies governing labor relations ensures your legal operations. Anderson, Julian & Hull LLP provides employers with day-to-day compliance counseling and just resolutions to workplace disputes that advance labor relations and further your business success.

Supporting productive workplace conditions
Following complex legal procedures takes valuable time away from your real job — running and promoting your business. For 14 years, Anderson, Julian & Hull LLP has counseled businesses on procedure and fulfillment under labor law, including:

  • Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
  • Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
  • Workers Compensation Program
  • Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA)
  • Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA)
  • Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act
  • Consumer Credit Protection Act (CPCA)
  • Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Immigration and Nationality Act (INA)
  • Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act (MSPA)

Advising employers on compliance and dispute resolution
Anderson, Julian & Hull LLP works with employers to ensure continued compliance with complex Idaho and federal regulations. Legal disputes may arise even at a company that is diligent about regulatory compliance. Having proper legal representation to guide your company helps you deal with current disputes in an expedient fashion and gives you the opportunity to avoid potentially problematic situations as you develop your plans for the future.

Through exceptional skills in administration, procedure, settlement negotiations, mediation, arbitration and court trials, Anderson, Julian & Hull LLP obtains the best possible solutions in matters concerning:

  • Employee relations management
  • Senior executive appointments and severance
  • Equal employment opportunity commission (EEOC) disputes
  • Trade or labor unions
  • Discrimination-based conflicts
  • Class action audits
  • Benefits issues

Safeguarding your business
Just as your company has certain specific responsibilities to its employees, workers are obligated to comply with work policies and legal requirements that affect your business. Incompetent, unethical or unlawful behavior of a worker has potentially devastating consequences.

Anderson, Julian & Hull LLP assists businesses in:

  • Developing clear, written employment policies
  • Drafting employment contracts
  • Drafting non-compete agreements
  • Drafting nondisclosure agreements
  • Addressing suspicions of a worker’s unlawful or unethical acts
  • Dismissing employees

Workers compensation defense
When an employee is injured in your workplace, as the employer-respondent you must address the injury by filing a First Report of Injury and by cooperating with your workers compensation insurance carrier, if any. Even if you suspect employee fraud, you should still cooperate with the investigation and other attorneys, and you should not terminate the employee. Whether you carry workers compensation insurance or are a self-insured employer, you will be required to appear before the State of Idaho Industrial Commision, which reviews your case during a trial hearing and determines the appropriate amount of compensation due to the claimant.

Self-insured workers compensation defense
For employers who do not carry workers compensation insurance, the process of defending against an employee claim can be significantly more complex and costly. We defend both group self-insured employers who have pooled their liabilities with other employers and self-insured employers approved by the State of Idaho Industrial Commision. In either case, your best defense against an employee claim is to contact us as soon as possible.

Prompt and effective analysis and workers compensation defense
Our first service is to provide you with a thorough analysis of your case as soon as possible. This analysis will inform you of your rights and responsibilities, provide you with an honest appraisal of your best settlement options, and offer you legal advice on whether you should engage in litigation. Throughout the defense of your claim, you will have our experienced attorneys working on the case and advancing your defense with great dispatch toward an immediate resolution. We zealously and aggressively pursue your bottom line, whether the ultimate resolution rests in settlement, litigation or appeal. Above all, we defend your best interests at all times, steadfastly representing your position and standing behind both your decisions and our work.
